Michael Keaton's role in "Birdman" is one of his most notable film. The versatile actor is equally skilled in comedy as well as drama. In addition to playing the roles of a romantic, he has also was a part of action films and thrillers. The passion for performing arts started in his teens. He tried stand up comedy during his 20s. While his stand-up comedy venture did not succeed but it laid the groundwork for his future acting career. Inability to make it as a comedian he took the job of cameraman for a TV cable station. It was while working there that he realized that the way he wanted to work was present in front of cameras. Through a handful of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got an appearance on television. The actor was naturally talented and became very popular on television. In pursuit of his dreams, he made a move into film and was a household name in comedy parts. His fame was further elevated after he was praised in the role of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor as time went on and delved into the direction and production realms. As a result of his performance in Birdman (2014), he was awarded numerous nominations and awards.
