Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. As a versatile actor, he is able to perform comic and dramatic characters. Apart from playing characters with romantic appeal, he starred in action films and thrillers. As a teenager, he began to develop an interest in acting and performing. In the later years, when he was a youngster, he attempted stand-up humor. Even though his comedy endeavors did not succeed however, it served as the basis for his career as an actor. It was not easy to find the success he had as a comedian, so he became a TV cameraman at a cable channel. When he was working for the cable station, he realized that he would like to be in the front of cameras. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got a television part. The natural talents of the actor earned him a lot of attention on television. He launched the film industry with high hopes and achieved a great deal of recognition through his comedic characters. He earned further acclaim by playing the titular Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. Over time, his acting skills developed and he was able to look into directing and producing. His performance in the 2014 film Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and prizes.
